The 2004 Festival will include a return engagement of the Argentinean vocal group Opus Cuatro; the first TCU appearance of Colombia’s unique instrumental group, Guafa Trio; world premieres of works by South American composers.

TCU Symphony, Germán Gutiérrez, conductor. World premiere of Edgar Valcarcel’s Concierto Indio for cello and orchestra, Jesus Castro-Balbi, soloist.   Bachianas Brasileiras No. 3, Cliburn gold medalist Jose Feghali, soloist.

TCU Chorale presents Latin American songs, Ron Shirey, conductor.

April 24 – 6:00 p.m. Fiesta Latina

TCU Student Center Ballroo TCU’s Latin American Arts Festival concludes with a post-concert Latin party.  Music, food, salsa dancing.
