Since the spring of 1998 Ibagué born Germán Gutiérrez has been dubbed "The man behind the Festival." Dr. Gutiérrez is the Director of Orchestras and Director of the Center for Latin American Music at Texas Christian University and the Director of the Greater Fort Worth Youth Orchestra. |
